Not for the faint of heart!
I added several more photos in April 2005. So have fun perusing the pictorial history of my life (complete with embarrassing and/or stupid pictures). Oh, and don't expect any wizardry coding here, I'm no Web wizard; I'm just working with what I know.
(Sad, isn't it?)
The 1995 photo on my main page is most recent, although it's 10 years old already (I should slap up a fresh one). Below is my high school senior picture. Actually, it wasn't half bad, considering the subject matter....
Class of 1981, folks! Do the math for my age.
College Life...
I went to a small college in Texas during the years of 1982-84, and while there, managed to make a few impressions. The next picture takes a little explanation. We had a women's dorm party with the theme of the jungle. I came dressed in animal print (I'm the one in back), and my friend Robin came dressed in safari clothes. I had this fake knife strapped to my leg which I kept brandishing about wildly, and well, one thing led to another. Robin was a pretty good sport actually.
So, do I look ridiculous or what? I told you this would be good laughing material.
Note the "convincing" snarl, ha ha!
That was one moment from the jungle dorm party. Here's all of my roommates, plus myself, and our dates, all in costume. Well, mostly in costume. Cleta in the back didn't dress up--boring! I'm sure you'll have no trouble picking me out. I'm the woman in front with the wild hair....
Sondra (on the left) came dressed as an injured traveler, Robin (on the right) was the safari woman,
and I was "Jungle Jane." I'm brandishing a knife in my right hand.
Okay, here's another picture from those 2 years in college (boy, I did a lot back then!) I've been to 2 universities and 2 colleges, and my nuttiest pictures are from these 2 years. Maybe it's the humidity down there that makes a person crazy. This next photo is rather out of character for me, but I couldn't resist.
The standard dance vamp pic.
Like I said, I did a lot during those 2 years at this college, as you can see below. I had both extremes in appearance! Actually, the awful picture on the right is from a "dork party" that we had in our dorm. The point was to dress as nerdily/stupidly as possible, and I think I achieved that. I'm almost embarrassed to include it beside the left photo, but it's worth some laughs.
Don't try to understand the transition.
Since I'm on the theme of what I did at this Texas college, here's the student job I held for 2 years. You can see how much I enjoyed it....
Help! I'm cleaning and I can't stop!
Life wasn't all cleaning. I found some time to be a Domestic Goddess. Here's what's left of a cake I made. My roommates graciously helped me consume this culinary delight. In case you're wondering, it's a "brown oats 'n spice" cake with a caramel frosting.
One of my favorite dorm foods, ha ha!
I did go home and visit the family at times. And our pets. Below is Mowpoo, a black and white cat, and William's our cream Persian. Oh, and this is during the time that everyone was using hot rollers and had the "Jaclyn Smith" hairdo. Who was I to buck the trend? Although it took far too long to achieve the look!
Mowpoo was a gorgeous cat who loved snuggling.

William was a bit timid but sweet-natured.

After those photos, I obviously felt shown up by feline pulchritude. So I posed for this "attitude" shot. Oh yeah, bring it on!

Don't I look tough?

Teenage Years...
Enough of the college memory lane stuff. Let's slip further back into time when I was around 16 years old, and my family was on vacation. My 4 siblings and brother-in-law and I got together for an historic picture....
Left to right, front row: Theresa (oldest), Suzie (2nd from youngest), and I'm on the right!
(I'm the youngest--okay, so I'm the baby of the family, so to speak. No smark remarks!)
Left to right, back row: Tim (Theresa's husband), Jim (middle sibling), Randy (next oldest)
Preteen Years...
When I was eleven we moved from our one-year stay in Delaware to Mom's hometown in Iowa. They had a great park where we had a picnic.
Can you find me? (ha ha)
Childhood Years...
Six years earlier now, I'm 10 years old and this is just before my family moved from Alvin, Texas, over to Newark, Delaware for a year (the next year we moved to my mother's hometown in Iowa). My middle sister Suzie and I posed in front of our country home. We lived on a 5-acre spread and had lots of fun running all over it. The back 3 acres were covered in dewberries in which we tramped down trails for hiking.
A rare moment with my sister and I sitting still!
The same year but earlier, I'm still 10 with my pet parakeet, Perry. We used to let him out so he could get some exercise flying around the house. He loved his little bell so much, all I had to do was ring it and he'd come to me. Perry also used to walk around on the carpeting and nudge a ping pong ball with his beak and twitter. I had a blast with him!(Sorry about the overexposed photo, but it isn't due to scanning error!)
I got Perry for my eighth birthday!
Put the way back machine many years earlier, in elementary school. Here's an early school picture of me, back when I wore the "popular" cat's-eye glasses with the stripes on the end. Shortly after my 10th birthday, I got contacts and never looked back.
I can't believe I could smile wearing those things!
This is at the Houston Zoo, with my siblings. We loved going to the zoo, seeing the peacocks wandering around. We would have a picnic lunch in the park and feed the ducks.
It's a gorgeous day to be outside.
Back a little further. I was 2 years old for this photo. I'm on the left, and Suzie's on the right, having fun with bubblebath.
Hey, check out the vintage pink tiles in the bathroom.
Aren't we precious?
That same year at Christmas, I wore this little red number. Mom gave me a little carriage, but I was more interested in my brother's toy parking garage (not much for dolls)....

I knew where the real fun was.

Infancy Years...
My very first birthday! With my siblings clustered around to help celebrate.
Come on, let's get to the cake!
Well, everyone has to start somewhere. Since I'm regressing backward, why not start with a very early photo? Here's my entire family, circa March 1963. Can you guess which person I am? (There's even a big hint!)
The Foshee family.... My "Age of Innocence," ha ha!
Since I'm traveling back in time, here's the earliest momento from my infancy, the hospital birth tag from where I was born. Proof of my beginnings.
Hospital birth tag from 1962.
Tune back in as I add more pictures to this site.
